Reviews for KitchenAid Cook's Series Mandoline Slicer (Kitchen) This slicer works okay however has some severe problems. One, the julienne blades (both thick skinny) failed to slice all over the food. Second, the swing away blade protect just gets in the manner when you to find yourself looking to slice AND just swings out of the highest way when your fingers go by using - Ouch! The blade storage container is nice, and plain slicing is k and adjustable. The stand is lovely giant but in addition sturdy. The meals holder is merely too advanced and tough to align. While it is dishwasher safe, it takes endlessly to dry. The small plastic booths dangle a good amount of water. Due to its incapacity to julienne, it's not a just right worth.
Reviews for KitchenAid Cook's Series Mandoline Slicer (Kitchen) I bough this as a result of it is a KitchenAid product, and I expected high qualilty product. But I truly have been dissapointed via it. While the slicer works OK with cucumber and potatoes, this isn't authentic with tomatoes and carrots. The julian slicers piece is nugatory. Futhermore, it's huge.
Reviews for KitchenAid Cook's Series Mandoline Slicer (Kitchen) If you do a quantity of cutting of greens in the kitchen, then you need a mandoline. This is my first one who I have gotten. It's pretty easy and it does what it says it's going to. The blades are sharp, but lets be lifelike, it can be now not going to paper slice thin that recent tomato. But it'll utterly chop a large onion in 6-7 swipes! It will shred/chop/julianne stick veggies quick...you must do it by using hand and now not use the large veggie impaling dangleer. Just be careful with the fingers as you get towards the finish of the veggie. But not a problem should you pay attention. One skinnyg that irritated me at first used to be the plastic swing arm. Once I pried it off of the put up, it made chopping so much easier.
