It is beautiful giant and I'm pretty small -- my husband has helped me to sturdy the slicer while making cabbage slices for slaw. (He can do all of it through himself...) It takes a couple of minute to head via an immense head of cabbage. The outcomes are nice, thin slices which I suppose are good for slaw or crout. The blades are adjustable however we have by no means tried to are trying this. We have best had it for a few weeks however have used it for three batches of slaw and some carrots, onions, and so on. I maintain it saved within the garage with my canners, power cookers, and so on. We are going to check out and find a rectangular plastic storage drawer that we will set it on and apply some non-skid rubber to stop it from sliding. I haven't any remorseful abouts on this buy. We found it on-line at some other site which used to be a tad cheaper than Amazon.com.
Reviews for TSM Products Stainless Steel Cabbage Slicer (Kitchen) I used this cabbage slicer this past weekend to make cole slaw. I think it could be slicing it slightly thin. Might be too skinny for Sauerkraut, additionally.
But it does work and it can be easy to work with. Cleans up simply as neatly.
