Hard for one individual to do. Have to maintain pushing meat up tight to blade to get it to slice. We may by no means get the heart piece unscrewed to get the blade off.

I slice plenty of frozen sirloin roast for salads and cheesesteaks. Works even better on cooked lunch meats. Remember to not go to fast it is a small house slicer. The equipments are plastic and ya don't want to strip em. The best downfall is after you smooth it when it is time to put the blade again in place you need to first put the nylon flow for the blade back in. This has a tendancy not to stay in place while replacing blade. I just use a couple small pieces of scotch tape to carry it.

So some distance I've used it on Turkey breast, Ham, Taylor Ham (pork roll) and frozen London Broil to get these nice skinny slices I like for Beef Stroganoff. Haven't used it for bread or cheese yet.
For the cost, it feels well constructed. It makes good even slices, and it is simple to easy, just remember that to take the blade off (and watch out, it IS sharp), you have to turn the screw to the precise, NOT the left.
Remember, this isn't a full blown deli machine, and to expect it to perform like one is unreasonable. But, for a house use slicer, this laptop slices nice and even. And the red color appears flashy on my counter!
Bought the Deni 14250 first. My advise, avoid that machine, had all sorts of issues from uneven slices to faulty on/off change. Best skinnyg I did was once to get the Kalorik AS29091.
